Abbey Kids' Medieval Fun Day

Special Day for 3 - 12 yr olds! Knights Training, Archery, Gypsy Dancing, Henna Hand Art, Camel Rides, Jumping Castles, Junior Jousting, Trebuchet Firing and HEAPS MORE!

Kids Medieval Fun Day is a special day of workshops and activities designed to entertain and educate kids aged 3-12 years. It will be held on Tuesday 3rd July 2012, in Abbey Medieval Festival Week, a few days prior to the award-winning Abbey Medieval Tournament.

For a small entry fee of $4.00 per child, children can participate in a number of fun activities including stilt walking, storytelling and medieval games. Enjoy great entertainment such as puppet shows and roving stiltwalkers! Don’t forget to come in your best medieval attire to show off in the Costume Competition! Great prizes awarded!

A place in one of the specialist workshops starts from just $1 per child. Book online to ensure your child doesn’t miss out! Workshops include Medieval Pottery, Junior Jousting, Princess Hat Decorating, Knights Training School, Peg Doll making, Drum Beat workshop, Youth Tournament, Decorate a Sword, Gypsy Dancing, Make a Flower Garland, Archery and lots more!

A delicious selection of food and drink will be available for purchase or you can bring your own picnic lunch!

Kids Medieval Fun Day is held on the grounds of the Abbey Museum and Abbey Medieval Festival. Travelling to the event is an easy 45 minute drive from Brisbane or 30 minute drive from the Sunshine Coast, via the Bruce Highway. FREE parking available.
